as far as i know AS does not carry Selenia... they use AGIP instead

I juz sent my car for 40k servicing yesterday and saw selenia oil being poured into my car. No worries. Receipt will also reflect what oil is being used.

hitting my 20k soon... any ppls do theirs outside? As or alfacity?? wat's the damage the the service items?

let me know wen your 20k is up... i'll convince TTS to use the latest pricing.

AS pricing is slightly lower but they use AGIP engine oil.

i prefer Selenia oil & i told TTS used it for my 20k... now my FC has improved from 11.9km/l to 13.1km/l or distance cover 690km to 750km respectively Wink
of cos this got to do with my driving habits & i usually drive on expressways
18k+++ liao... may i know wat's the damage?
is there a checklist showing the service items?
- engine oil, oil gasket, air-con filter, wat else?

no idea man... AS mostly uses Agip oil... the price difference is very slight.

GOOD NEWS FROM TTS
just found out yesterday.... that as of 1st June, all Bravos regardless date bought will be using latest servicing price. it's lower than intial shocking $409 for 20k servicing.

anyone else did 20k servicing already... any comments?

anyway, u can also refer to the topic "Service Intervals?" which talks of similiar stuff.

well, i did my 20k servicing on the monday and request for selenia oil. The selenia oil cost me $108 @ $27/litres, compare to the normal castrol oil they normally use @ $22/litres. My whole 20k servicing cost me $247 Smile some more by using selenia oil can service every 20k instead of 10k.

bro engine oil is combustible item... though it can submit to extreme heat but i suggest u remove it from ur car booth & keep it in well ventilated storage away from heat or sun just to be sure.

u can top up on your own after long hard drive to keep your engine well lubricated.... remember not to fill beyond the stick marking.

Post  omd2k on Fri Jul 04, 2008 11:46 pm

U paid for the oil, of coz the remaining have to give u back. Every workshop is like that. It may be of use when the engine oil run low n u can refuel urself.
